[New Size Added] "Larger Size" Collars Now Available from Onddoka: Comfort That Fits Life with Dogs, Too

"My dog or cat is a bit on the larger side, and I can't find a collar that fits." "Can I use a product from a cat brand on my dog?"

In response to requests like these from owners, a new size has been added to Onddoka's collars.

In addition to our regular size (approx. 18-30cm), we are now offering a new "larger size" of approx. 22-34cm.

For dogs who don't like clothes, too: The example of our model, Sally

Modeling the new size for us this time was Sally, a 6-year-old small dog (weighing 6kg). Her neck circumference is about 23cm, so she can wear the regular size, but the "larger size," with its wider adjustment range, is a better fit.

In fact, Sally is a little reluctant to wear clothes. Perhaps because of the unfamiliar feeling against her body, she sometimes bothers her neck area and chews at it. However, with Onddoka's collar, she showed no particular concern even after putting it on and stayed relaxed.

3 reasons sensitive pets "forget they're wearing it"

Dogs and cats are animals that naturally do not like wearing anything on their bodies. That is exactly why Onddoka develops its products from the following three perspectives.

  • Lightness: At approx. 3–6g each, it weighs only about as much as one sheet of A4 copy paper.
  • Gentle on the skin: Made of natural cotton and linen, each one is finished by hand by craftspeople.

For larger cats and indoor use by small to medium-sized dogs

The "larger size" is especially recommended for pets such as the following.

  • Large cat breeds: For sturdy-boned breeds such as Maine Coons, Ragdolls, and Norwegian Forest Cats, and for long-haired breeds with a lot of fur around the neck.
  • Dogs up to medium size: For “indoor use” on dogs ranging from small dogs like Sally to medium-sized dogs with a neck circumference of up to about 30cm.

Precautions for safe use

Onddoka's collars feature a "safety buckle" that releases when strong force is applied. This is a safety feature to prevent accidents should the collar ever get caught on an obstacle or the like.

For this reason, we ask dog owners to please note the following.
"Never use this product for walks with a leash attached." Please use a collar or harness made specifically for dogs for walks, and use Onddoka's collar as a house collar (indoor collar) at home or for identification by attaching an ID tag.
