A gentle life for cats
" Onddoka " is a brand of everyday products for cats that are gentle on the body.
We have been involved in the planning and development of ladies' innerwear for many years, and launched this project with the wish that our beloved cats live comfortable and peaceful lives.
The brand name " Onddoka " is an old Basque word that means "Shall we go and pick some mushrooms?". It is a greeting used when crossing mountains on pilgrimages. We chose this name by superimposing this heartwarming scene on our life with cats.
Our Story
When it comes to making innerwear that is required to be functional and comfortable, we have always focused on materials, texture, fit, and designs that are in tune with everyday life.
The breathability and heat retention of the material determines the comfort of innerwear that comes into direct contact with the skin, and the amount of compression in the design affects mental stress.
While working on these developments, I had the idea that I wanted to choose items for my beloved cat that were similarly stress-free, which led to the birth of the brand.
Cats are geniuses at finding cozy spots.
We would like to continue doing what we can for cats, who love comfort.
Why cats should wear collars
For those of us living in Japan, a country prone to disasters, it's important to think about how to protect our beloved cats in the event of an emergency on a daily basis.

A cycle of manufacturing with no waste
Many of Onddoka 's products are made by hand. Through careful, handcrafted manufacturing, we aim to minimize production loss through a meticulous production system.
For example, clothing for small cats can be made using just a few small pieces of fabric.
Our goal is to create a cycle of manufacturing without waste by utilizing leftover fabrics from various manufacturing processes and transforming them into new value.
