Dehumidifying mat for cats

I made a dehumidifying mat out of cloth for my cat who is sensitive to humidity .
By placing it on a cat bed, cage, etc., it will absorb moisture from the surrounding area and help regulate the humidity in your cat's favorite place.
*You can use it repeatedly by drying it in the sun occasionally on sunny days.

■Material: Front: 100% cotton / Back: cotton 100%, (filling: polyester)
■Size: Approx. 40cm x 31cm
■Country of Origin: Japan■Notes:
・Can be washed. If using a washing machine, use a laundry net and avoid tumble drying.
Due to the nature of the product, color may fade or transfer. Please wash separately from other clothes.

-Since it is made of highly absorbent fibers, if it absorbs a lot of water after washing, it will take 1-2 days to dry. If it contains moisture, dry it thoroughly in the sun.
- Moisture-absorbing fibers are very sensitive to high temperatures and tend to shrink. We recommend avoiding the use of irons, and if you do use an iron, use it on medium to low heat for a short period of time.

Humidity is more important to cats than temperature

When the rainy days continue, you may start to worry about your cat's overly thorough grooming.
Long-haired cats in particular are prone to having their skin become sweaty, and we often hear of cases where they develop eczema and bald spots without you even realizing it.

Cats that come from the desert can tolerate dry heat, but they do not do well in humid heat, which can have a negative impact on their health.
Humidity prevention measures are also recommended for cats that spend a lot of time lying down, such as during nursing care.

About Indian hand-dyed fabric "Hand Block Print"

Hand block printed fabrics often have small stains and ink splatters due to the manual process. There are also many cases of dye bleeding and uneven coloring. In order to reduce waste, Onddoka tolerates these areas as much as possible and uses them in its products. We hope that you will understand this and enjoy the look that cannot be achieved with machine dyeing.
