"Humidity-control pillow for cats"

A humidity-control pillow that dehumidifies and deodorizes, with "moisture-absorbing" fibers inside.

Did you know that cats, originally from the desert, are sensitive to humidity? When the rain continues, grooming increases, and in some cases it can lead to "excessive grooming." During the rainy season, the growth of germs due to humidity is also a concern.

Simply placed in a spot, the "Humidity-control pillow for cats" absorbs moisture from its surroundings and releases it without retaining it inside. For everyday care, just dry it in the shade regularly; its absorbency does not decline even after repeated washing.
Please use it in places where your cat usually relaxes, such as cat beds, chigura (straw cat houses), or cages.

■Material: Outer: Cotton 100% (Made in Japan) / Lining: Cotton  100%, (Filling: Polyester)
■Size: Approx. 25cm x 15cm
■Country of Origin: Japan (Nara Prefecture)
■Notes: Not washable. If you are concerned about dirt, wipe it with a damp, well-wrung cloth.
Regular sun-drying keeps the humidity-control effect lasting.

About the product

Made of soft Japanese-made lawn fabric, this is a pillow for cats. It contains cotton-like fibers that absorb moisture, so it can be used as a “dehumidifier” for the space where your cat spends time.

The absorbent fiber placed inside has about 7 times the moisture absorption capacity of cotton and twice that of silica gel, and is also excellent at deodorizing.
It can be reused repeatedly by drying it in the sun, and its performance does not decline even after repeatedly absorbing water and moisture.
※A fiber with low calorific value when burned, designed with the global environment in mind.

What matters to cats is humidity rather than temperature

When rainy days continue, you may notice your cat grooming a little too thoroughly.
Long-haired cats in particular are prone to damp skin, and we often hear of cases where eczema developed unnoticed, leading to bald patches from licking.

Cats, originally from the desert, are said to be strong against dry heat but weak against humid heat, which can also have a negative effect on their health.
Humidity control is also recommended for cats that spend a lot of time lying down, such as those receiving nursing care.
