"Cat's Soft Elizabethan Collar"
A gentle fabric Elizabethan collar suitable for kittens to adult cats.
It can also be used as a cape by turning it upside down.
It is extremely lightweight and places little burden on the neck, designed to minimize stress even when used for long periods.

It has various uses, such as after surgery, for illness care, cold protection, or to prevent fur from flying during shedding season.
Of course, it is also washable.

About the product

A common problem with fabric collars is that cats, who prefer narrow spaces, may bump into walls while walking, causing the collar to lose its shape. However, the "Cat's Soft Elizabethan Collar" is designed to be resistant to losing its shape, using two types of core materials inspired by the design of bra cups.
The string around the neck that touches the skin does not use core material, making it soft to prevent hair loss.

The main body uses traditional Indian hand-block printed fabric. The prints, hand-dyed with plant dyes, each have a unique appearance and a warm texture.


How to put on the Cat's Soft Elizabethan Collar

Adjust the adjuster to its maximum width, unbutton it, and put it on over the head.
After adjusting, tuck the string inside to prevent it from getting in the way.
When used as a collar, you can prevent it from getting dirty by turning it upside down while your cat eats or drinks water.
To adjust the adjuster:
・If the priority is to prevent the collar from coming off for post-operative or illness care, adjust the adjuster with 1-2 finger widths of space.
・If using it as a cape for cold protection, we recommend a looser fit.
・If using for an extended period, regularly check the fit around the neck by inserting your finger. Kitten neck sizes change daily, and adult cats' fur volume changes with the season. Incorporating this into daily grooming will provide peace of mind.
・If you have small children or family members with allergies, it can also be used to reduce fur flying during shedding season.

Washing instructions

Can be washed at home.
 Hand washing (gently pressing) in water at around 30℃ will help maintain its shape and prolong its life. If using a washing machine, use a "delicate cycle" or "hand wash cycle" setting and place it in a laundry net.
Do not use a dryer.
When drying, reshape it thoroughly and dry it completely in a shaded, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
 As it uses hand-dyed cotton, color fading may occur. Please wash separately from other clothing.

かわいいのですが、耳のおおきなうちの猫にはちょっと窮屈そうで慣れないようです。首回りがもう少し融通利くといいですね。

造りがしっかりしていながらも硬すぎないので、快適に着用できるエリザベスカラーだと思います。
デザインもとっても素敵です◎
洗い替え用でキナリフラワーも購入しましたが、キナリフラワーと比べると生地が少し硬めなのか、サイズ調整が若干大変でした。
長毛種はアジャスターに毛が挟まり安いので、着用時はそこだけ気をつけてあげると良いかもしれません。
