"Soft Elizabeth Collar for Cats"

A gentle fabric Elizabeth collar that can be used for kittens to adult cats.
It can also be used as a cape by turning it upside down.
It is extremely lightweight and puts minimal strain on the neck, so it is designed to be as stress-free as possible even when used for long periods.

It can be used in various ways, such as for post-operative care, disease care, cold weather protection, and preventing hair from flying around during shedding season.
Of course, it is also washable.

■Size: Neck circumference approx. 16-30cm / Face circumference max: approx. 36cm / Height: approx. 11cm

■Caution: This product uses hand-dyed Indian cotton for the main fabric. Due to the nature of the material, there may be color unevenness or fading, but we hope you will enjoy it as part of the material's character.


About the product

A common problem with fabric collars is that cats, who prefer narrow spaces, may bump into walls while walking, causing the collar to lose its shape. However, the "Soft Elizabeth Collar for Cats" is designed to resist losing its shape by using two types of core materials, inspired by the design of a bra cup.
The string around the neck that touches the skin does not use core material, making it soft to prevent hair loss.

The main body uses traditional Indian hand block printed fabric. The prints are hand-dyed with vegetable dyes, giving each piece a unique expression and a warm texture.


How to put on the Soft Elizabeth Collar for Cats

Fully expand the adjustment adjuster, unbutton it, and put it on from over the head.
After adjustment, tuck the string inside to keep it out of the way.
When using it as a collar, you can prevent it from getting dirty by flipping it over while your cat eats or drinks.
To adjust the adjuster:
・If the priority is to prevent the collar from coming off for post-operative or disease care, adjust the adjuster to allow for a 1-2 finger gap.
・When using it as a cape for cold weather, we recommend a looser fit.
・For long-term use, frequently check the fit by inserting your finger into the neck area.Kittens' neck sizes change daily,and adult cats' fur volume changes with the seasons. Incorporating this into your daily grooming routine will provide peace of mind.
・It can also be used to reduce the amount of flying hair during shedding season, especially if there are small children or family members with allergies.

Washing instructions

It can be washed at home.
Handwashing (gently pressing) with water around 30°C will help it retain its shape and last longer. If using a washing machine, use a "delicate cycle" or "hand wash course" setting and place it in a laundry net.
Do not tumble dry.
When drying, reshape it thoroughly and dry it completely in a shaded, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
As hand-dyed cotton is used, color fading may occur. Please be careful when washing with other garments.

かわいいのですが、耳のおおきなうちの猫にはちょっと窮屈そうで慣れないようです。首回りがもう少し融通利くといいですね。

造りがしっかりしていながらも硬すぎないので、快適に着用できるエリザベスカラーだと思います。
デザインもとっても素敵です◎
洗い替え用でキナリフラワーも購入しましたが、キナリフラワーと比べると生地が少し硬めなのか、サイズ調整が若干大変でした。
長毛種はアジャスターに毛が挟まり安いので、着用時はそこだけ気をつけてあげると良いかもしれません。
