The buckle used is a Duraflex brand safety adjuster thatsafely detaches when strong force is applied.(*If a cat, which prefers narrow spaces, gets its collar caught on something, there is a risk of suffocation if it panics.)

How to put on the collar

When putting on the collar, aim for a gap that allows 2-3 fingers to fit. Be careful, as too tight can cause stress, andtoo loose can make it easy for teeth to get caught.Periodically check the fit by inserting your fingers into the collar.Kittens' neck sizes change daily, andadult cats' fur volume changes with the seasons. Incorporating this into your daily bonding routine will provide peace of mind.

This is an indoor collar that uses a safety buckle that safely detaches when strong force is applied.Due to its lightweight and soft construction, it cannot be used for walks or tethering. Claws may get caught in the collar. This is also a sign that the claws are long, so please trim them.
