The Liberty fabric used for the main body is "Forest Wave," a design by Akira Minagawa from a collaboration with minä perhonen. This design, depicting birds, rabbits, and leaves nestled together, expresses how the forest ecosystem breathes and connects.

About the Product

The "Cat-Friendly Cotton Collar" is designed with your cat's comfort in mind, carefully selecting materials with good breathability and soft textures to minimize stress. The belt portion that touches the skin is soft to prevent hair loss, and decorations such as ribbons are kept to a minimum.

The buckle uses a Duraflex safety adjuster that releases safely when strong force is applied. (Note: Cats, who prefer narrow spaces, risk suffocation if their collar gets caught on something and they panic.)

How to put on the collar

When attaching the collar, ensure there is enough space for 2-3 fingers to fit underneath. Please be aware that if it's too tight, it can cause stress, and if it's too loose, your cat's teeth may easily get caught. Regularly check the fit by putting your fingers under the collar. Kitten neck sizes change daily, and adult cats' fur volume also changes with the seasons. Incorporating this into your daily routine for physical contact will provide peace of mind.

Collar Handling

This is an indoor collar that uses a safety buckle that releases safely under strong force. Due to its lightweight and soft construction, it cannot be used for walks or tethering. Claws may get caught in the collar. This is also a sign that the claws are long, so please trim them.

A collar serves as an identification for your pet cat, proving useful in cases of getting lost, escaping, or during disasters. Taking photos of your cat wearing the collar is recommended as it makes searching easier.
