This is a hand-drawn work from 1960 by Colleen Farr, who established Liberty's first in-house design studio in the early 1950s. This wonderfully fruity print, colored with a fresh palette, expresses the essence of summer with the pop of juicy cherries scattered on leafy branches.

About the Product

The "Cat-Friendly Cotton Collar" is designed with great care to be stress-free for cats, selecting materials with excellent breathability and texture. The belt portion that touches the skin is soft to prevent hair loss, and decorations such as ribbons are kept to a minimum.

The buckle is a Duraflex safety adjuster that safely detaches when strong force is applied. (※ If a cat, which prefers narrow spaces, gets its collar caught on something, there is a risk of suffocation due to panic.)

How to put on the collar

When attaching the collar, aim for a gap where 2-3 fingers can fit. Please be aware that if it's too tight, it will cause stress, and if it's too loose, teeth can easily get caught. Periodically check the fit by putting your fingers under the collar. The neck size of kittens changes daily, and the volume of an adult cat's fur also changes with the seasons. Incorporating this into your daily bonding routine will provide peace of mind.

Handling the collar

This is an indoor collar with a safety buckle that detaches safely when strong force is applied. Due to its lightweight and soft construction, it cannot be used for walks or tethering. Claws may get caught in the collar. This is also a sign that the claws are long, so please trim them.

A collar that protects your cat in an emergency

A collar serves as a sign for a pet cat, which can be useful in cases of getting lost, escaping, or during disasters. Taking photos is recommended as it makes it easier to search for them.
