This design, inspired by the blackberries, dog roses, and dense flowers found in English hedgerows, is based on a 1930s Liberty woodblock print. Prints combining flowers and fruits have always been part of Liberty's creative heritage, symbolizing the richness and diversity of the natural world.

About the product

"Cat-friendly cotton collars" are designed with careful consideration for cats' comfort, prioritizing breathability and soft materials to minimize stress. The part of the belt that touches the skin is designed to be soft to prevent hair loss, and the decorations are kept to a minimum.

The buckle is a Duraflex safety adjuster that safely detaches when strong force is applied. (Note: If a cat, which prefers narrow spaces, gets its collar caught on something, there is a risk of suffocation if it panics.)

How to put on a frill collar

We recommend putting on the frill collar loosely. Adjust the size with the internal adjuster, fasten the buckle, then stretch the frilled fabric so that it covers the buckle.
For young, active cats or those who strongly dislike collars, wearing it too loosely can be dangerous and lead to accidents. In such cases, fit the collar so that 1-2 fingers can comfortably slide underneath.

Regularly check the fit of the collar by inserting your fingers. A kitten's neck circumference changes daily, and an adult cat's fur volume changes with the seasons. Incorporating this into your daily routine of physical contact will provide peace of mind.

Collar handling

This is an indoor collar with a safety buckle that detaches safely when strong force is applied. It is lightweight and soft, so it cannot be used for walks or tethering. Claws may get caught in the collar. This is also a sign that the claws are long, so please trim them.

A collar that protects your cat in an emergency

Collars serve as identification for pet cats and are useful in cases of getting lost, escaping, or disasters. Taking photos of your cat wearing the collar is recommended as it makes searching easier.
