This is a hand-drawn work from 1960 by Colleen Farr, who established Liberty's first in-house design studio in the early 1950s. This wonderfully fruity print, colored with a fresh palette, expresses the essence of summer with the pop of juicy cherries scattered on leafy branches.

"Cat-friendly cotton collars" are designed with great care to select breathable and comfortable materials that do not stress cats. The belt part that touches the skin is soft to prevent hair loss, and the decorations are minimal.

The buckle is a Duraflex safety adjuster that releases safely when strong force is applied. (※If a cat, which prefers narrow spaces, gets its collar caught on something, there is a risk of suffocation if it panics.)

How to put on a ruffle collar

We recommend putting on the ruffle collar loosely. Adjust the size with the inner adjuster, fasten the buckle, and then stretch the ruffle fabric so it covers the buckle.
If the cat is young and active, or strongly dislikes collars, a too-loose fit can lead to accidents. In such cases, fit the collar so that one or two fingers can comfortably fit underneath.

Regularly check the collar's fit by inserting your fingers. The neck circumference of kittens changes daily, and the volume of adult cats' fur changes with the seasons. Incorporating this into your daily petting routine will give you peace of mind.

Collar care

This is an indoor collar that uses a safety buckle that releases safely when strong force is applied. It is lightweight and softly made, so it cannot be used for walks or tethering. Claws may get caught in the collar. This is also a sign that the claws are growing, so please trim them.

A collar that protects your cat in an "emergency"

A collar serves as an identifier for pet cats and is useful in cases of getting lost, escaping, or disasters. Taking a photo is also recommended as it makes it easier to find them.
